Proposal would include homework stations

On Tuesday at 5:15pm, the Student Government body will debate a proposal to outfit Elizabeth and Stella Russell Hall lobbies with televisions and homework stations.

Stella Russell Hall Director Jeremy Smith noted that “residents would definitely benefit from this move” and said "it's great that they're trying to give back to the residents."

Homework stations are to include computers, desks, and printers that will be accessible to students in their respective main lobbies 24/7.

Stella resident Clint Von Tilborg acknowledged that having the homework stations “would be easier than going to the library to print.”

Additionally, the proposal indicates that televisions are to be replaced and updated for the lobbies in both halls. Stella resident Kayla Walton said “I would definitely use the [upstairs] lobby more if there were a working T.V. in the room. “

Students, staff and faculty alike are welcome at SGA business meetings. Punctual attendance is requested.
